Methi Aloo

Ingredients

1 Fresh bunch of Methi

2 medium size tomatos

2 medium size potatoes

3 tsp Garlic Ginger paste

2 tsp Chilli powder

2 tsp Dhania powder

¼ tsp Turmeric powder

Garam Masala Powder (optional)

1 tsp Jeera

1 tsp vegetable oil

Salt to taste

 

Method

Peel the Aloo and cut into cubes. Clean the methi leaves chop finely. Heat oil and add jeera, then add the ginger and garlic paste. Stir till brown then add the tomatoes. Then add all the other masala except the garam masala.

Add the potatoes and methi.Sprinkle water, cover and allow it to cook on slow fire. Serve it hot with Rotis.
